Beginning Parliamentary Procedure Team placed first at the District Contest and The Advanced Team was second. Both teams will advance to the Sectional Contest. Amy Edison was also Second in the Creed Speaking contest and will also advance to Sectionals.

Advanced Team: Brooke Greenshields, Whitney Schaefer, Stephanie Simpson, Kylie Willis, Jacob Curtis, Dustin Denton, Karlee Riggs, Dusty Royse, Landra Skovlin. (not sure who yet :)
This year's creed speaking event was the largest yet. Twenty brave Freshman and Sophomores each took their turns presenting the creed to a large crowd of family and guests at the potluck. Speakers competed for a 1st prize FFA jacket and 2nd for a tie. These awards are sponsored and donated by the Alumni and supporters. First and Second place winners will also be headed to the district contest in March. The remainder of the contestants met their goal of qualifying to attend next year's national convention. Winners were; 1st place Amy Edison, 2nd Emily Ketscher, and 3rd Hayley Riggs, also pictured are Katie Birkmaier and McKenna Miller. Congratulations to all of the creed speakers. 
9 Members and Four Chaperones attended the National Convention this year in Indianapolis, IN. Members who attended were; Sawyer Wick, Jacob Curtis, Cody Arbogast, Stephanie Simpson, Myranda McFetridge, Bretta Wentz, Marta Stangel, and Kylie Willis. Chaperones were; Ms. Schofield, Carl McFetridge, Jay McFetridge, and Lianna Wentz. Students attended convention sessions, workshops and enjoyed many tours including Churchill Downs, the Louisville Slugger museum, the Corvette factory tours, and VIP Events and horse racing at Keeneland Track just to name a few. 
Come help us celebrate at our parent member banquet on April 27th at 7 pm in the Multi Purpose room. Students will be honored with awards, degree pins will be handed out, and we will enjoy a great meal prepared by Lear's and served to us by out FCCLA chapter. All parents and members should attend
